About

Corporate Social Responsibility

We are aware that the running of our business will, in many ways, affect our place of work, the community, and the wider environment in which we operate.

We believe that the way we run our business can and should make a positive difference in these areas and we aim to ensure that continued efforts are made to achieve that.

That’s why we’ve decided to give all employees 7.5 hours each year to undertake CSR activities within their local community.

Full-time members of staff, contracted to work 37 hours per week, will be allocated 7.5 hours per annum, and part-time members of staff will be allocated a pro-rated number of hours, depending on their working hours, to undertake CSR activities on behalf of the company at events recommended by our Environmental and Social Sustainability, Events, and Wellbeing teams.

Our Charity of the Year

The staff at each office nominate and vote for a Charity of The Year each year to which they devote their fundraising efforts and activities.

Spalding Office - Little Miracles

Little Miracles is a charity that supports families of children with additional needs, disabilities and life-limiting conditions

They provide a non-judgemental environment where we use our holistic approach to support the needs of the whole family

They specialise in providing advice, guidance, support, activities, training and safe places to any family that has a child with an additional need, disability or life-limiting condition

This includes providing support before they are diagnosed and from birth to 25

Alconbury and Langham - MAGPAS

Magpas Air Ambulance brings the very best pre-hospital emergency care, in the air or on land, including treatments usually only available in a hospital.

Their service operates 24/7 and, on average, answers four calls for help a day, treating around 900 patients in life-threatening emergencies every year.

They serve the communities of Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and across the East of England, and are dispatched by both the East of England and the East Midlands Ambulance Service Trusts—caring for a population of over 10 million.

Birmingham - Birmingham Children's Hospital

Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity is the official fundraising organisation that supports Birmingham Children’s Hospital, one of the UK’s leading specialist paediatric centres.

It raises money to fund life-saving equipment, pioneering research, and enhanced facilities that go beyond what NHS funding alone can provide.

The charity also helps create a more comfortable and child-friendly environment for young patients and their families during treatment and recovery.

Nottingham - PASIC

Pasicwork closely with social workers, play specialists, nursing teams and clinicians across the East Midlands Children and Young People’s Integrated Cancer Service.

Together, they make sure families receive the support they need throughout their child’s cancer treatment.
