Thomas is a shining example of how the Roythornes Bursary Scheme works. Available to only two locally educated and resident students each year, it is designed to help talented individuals realise their ambitions to follow a career in law. Thomas was awarded a much coveted place in 2016.
During his three years studying law at the University of Nottingham, and as part of the Scheme, he spent the intervening summers on work experience placements with the firm’s Private Client and Estates departments. When he graduated in 2019, he joined the Commercial Property department as a paralegal.
