Simran Kaur

Simran is currently undertaking her third seat within the Family Department, where she is gaining experience across a broad range of family law matters. She supports clients through often complex and sensitive issues, assisting with case management, client communication, legal research and the preparation of court documentation. She is particularly interested in helping clients navigate family disputes with a practical and empathetic approach.

Prior to joining the Family Department, Simran completed seats in both the Employment Department and the Living Team. During her employment seat, she gained experience in contentious and non-contentious matters, including drafting employment contracts and employee handbooks, communicating with clients, and attending hearings. Her first seat within the Living Team provided valuable exposure to a wide range of property-related work, including involvement in large development projects and a placement with the Plots Team, broadening her understanding of residential and commercial property transactions.

Before joining Roythornes, she worked at a litigation firm where she gained experience in road traffic accident and personal injury claims, developing strong client care, case preparation, and dispute resolution skills.

Through her training contract, Simran has gained experience across a variety of practice areas and is committed to developing into a well-rounded solicitor, building strong technical knowledge alongside a client-focused approach.
