Sam Young

Sam specialises in residential development and has experience acting across all aspects of the “cradle-to-grave” service offering for our house-builder clients. This regularly include site acquisitions, affordable housing transactions and infrastructure agreements.

Sam has experience in commercial landlord and tenant work as well as advising landowners, commercial developers, owner occupiers and investors across a wide range of commercial property matters. He also holds a Conveyancing Quality Scheme accreditation recognising his quality standard in residential conveyancing.

Sam was educated locally at Spalding Grammar School, before obtaining his law degree from the University of Nottingham and completing the combined Master of Laws and LPC at Nottingham Law School. Sam graduated in 2020 with Distinction.

Later that same year, Sam joined Roythornes' Real Estate team as a Paralegal where he assisted in a wide range of areas including residential property development, affordable housing and planning before starting his training contract in 2021. He qualified as a solicitor in March 2023 into our Commercial Property team.
