Matthew Campbell

Matthew commenced his Training Contract with Roythornes in September 2025, joining the Agricultural and Natural Resources Team. He brings valuable legal experience from both the public and private sectors to his role.

Prior to joining Roythornes, Matthew worked within the Commercial Property team at another law firm, providing him with solid foundations in property law. He also gained experience working within the Public Prosecution Service (Northern Ireland), specialising in indictable and serious offences, which developed his skills in complex legal matters and case management.

Matthew holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from Queen's University Belfast and a BA in Public Relations from Sheffield Hallam University. Demonstrating his commitment to legal practice, he self-studied for the SQE qualification.

Matthew's diverse background in criminal law, commercial property, and public relations, combined with his academic qualifications, brings a unique perspective to the Agricultural and Natural Resources Team as he develops his expertise in this specialised area of law.
