Mark joined the firm in 2008 and is responsible for marketing within the practice. Before joining Roythornes, he worked in a wide range of professional service businesses, including land and estate management, financial services and investments.
He works closely with department and sector heads across the practice to capitalise on business opportunities and develop on-going strategies. Part of his role is to instigate and organise free-to-attend seminars and informative talks on a wide range of subjects which clients and fellow professionals regularly attend, earning Roythornes the well-deserved reputation for hosting some of the best-attended networking opportunities in the area. Now in its fourth year, and by far the most popular of these events, is the bi-annual Food Business Breakfast, which has become one of the most significant and much-anticipated dates in the food sector’s calendar.
As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, key to Mark’s function is extending the firm’s links with trade organisations, industry groups and other professionals.
