Magnus Brown

Magnus is a Trainee Solicitor currently seated in our Litigation team, where he primarily works on employment law matters and regulatory crime cases. Having previously completed seats in our Agriculture and Natural Resources team and our Private Client team, Magnus draws on both his legal experience and agricultural background to bring a practical and commercially aware perspective to his work.

Before joining the Litigation team, Magnus supported a wide range of agricultural, land and rural business matters. Drawing on his extensive experience on his family’s dairy farm, he has developed a deep and practical understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing rural communities.

Magnus remains actively involved in both local and national farming circles, holding leadership roles and contributing to campaigns that have been featured in national media. In November 2025, he was recognised for his contribution to the sector when he was named Young Farmer of the Year by the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs.

Balancing his ongoing involvement in agriculture with his legal training, Magnus brings a unique perspective to his work. In 2026, he was selected to join the Anglian Farmers Fresh AF 2026 Programme, supporting the development of future leaders within the agricultural sector. He also regularly writes for national farming publications on a range of topics, including agricultural policy, current affairs and issues affecting young farmers.

Magnus is committed to developing his expertise to support a wide range of clients, with particular interests in agricultural property, natural resources, employment, regulatory matters and private client work.
