Magnus Brown
Magnus is a Trainee Solicitor currently seated in our Private Client team, following a successful previous seat in our Agriculture and Natural Resources team. Based at our Birmingham office, his agricultural background and early legal experience allow him to bring a nuanced understanding to matters involving succession, estates, trusts and rural clients.
Before joining the Private Client team, Magnus supported a wide range of agricultural, land and rural business matters. Drawing on his extensive experience on his family’s dairy farm, he has developed a deep and practical understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing rural communities.
Magnus remains actively involved in both local and national farming circles, holding leadership roles and contributing to campaigns that have been featured in national media. In November 2025, he was recognised for his contribution to the sector when he was named Young Farmer of the Year by the National Federation of Young Farmer’s Clubs.
Balancing his ongoing involvement in agriculture with his legal training, Magnus brings a unique perspective to his work. He is committed to developing his expertise to support a wide range of clients, with particular interests in agricultural property, natural resources, development, and private client matters.
