Joseph Collis
Joseph is a Trainee Solicitor in our Construction and Engineering team, based in the Nottingham office. He supports on a wide range of matters within the department, assisting clients across the construction, development and infrastructure sectors. In 2026, Joseph was elected Vice Chair of the Nottinghamshire Junior Lawyers Division, reflecting his growing involvement in the regional legal community.
Before joining the Construction and Engineering team, Joseph gained valuable experience in our Commercial Property department, where he worked on a broad range of property transactions for clients in development, investment and retail.
Joseph graduated with a First Class degree in Law from Keele University, demonstrating excellent academic capability and a meticulous approach to his work. Prior to joining Roythornes, he spent nearly three years as a Commercial Litigation Paralegal at an East Midlands firm, developing strong skills in legal process, dispute resolution and client care.
