Joseph Collis

Joseph is a Trainee Solicitor based in Roythornes' Nottingham office and is currently undertaking his third seat in the Commercial Litigation team.

He supports the team on a broad range of dispute resolution matters, drawing on previous experience gained across several legal disciplines. Prior to joining Commercial Litigation, Joseph completed a seat in the Construction & Engineering team, where he assisted clients on a variety of matters across the construction, development and infrastructure sectors. His first seat was in the Commercial Property team, where he worked on a diverse range of property transactions for clients involved in development, investment and retail.

In 2026, Joseph was elected Vice Chair of the Nottinghamshire Junior Lawyers Division, reflecting his active involvement in the regional legal community and commitment to professional development.

Joseph graduated from Keele University with a First Class Law degree. Before joining Roythornes, he spent almost three years as a Commercial Litigation Paralegal at an East Midlands law firm, gaining valuable experience in dispute resolution, legal processes and client care.
