Emma Barnard

Emma started her training contract in September 2025 with her first seat being in our Family team. Emma has worked in this department since August 2024 and assists clients with a wide range of family law matters.

Prior to joining the Family team, Emma began her career at Roythornes in 2023 as a Paralegal in the Real Estate team. There, she worked closely with the firm’s Conveyancers on various property transactions, gaining valuable experience in real estate law.

Emma successfully completed the Civil/Commercial Mediation Training Programme with ADR ODR International, and in June 2023, she became an accredited Civil/Commercial Mediator. She is also set to further enhance her expertise by undertaking the Digital Dispute Resolution Specialist Diploma with ADR ODR International in the near future.

Emma graduated from Warwick University with a first-class degree in Theatre and Performance Studies in 2021 before being awarded a scholarship to Nottingham Law school whereby she completed her LLM in Applied Leal Practice with distinction in July 2025.
