Ellie Cooper

Ellie commenced her Training Contract with Roythornes in September 2025, continuing her career development within the Agricultural and Natural Resources Team where she had previously gained valuable experience as a Trainee Paralegal.

Whilst in this team, Ellie gained extensive experience across various agricultural property transactions. Her responsibilities encompassed legal research, drafting documentation, and managing post-completion work including Land Registry applications and SDLT returns. This comprehensive foundation has provided her with an excellent base for progressing to more complex matters and taking greater involvement in transactions as a Trainee Solicitor.

Ellie is currently studying for the LPC, which she began in January 2025. She graduated from the University of York in August 2024 with an LLB in Law and Criminology.

Ellie's practical experience combined with her academic background positions her well to support clients with their agricultural and natural resources legal requirements whilst continuing to develop her expertise within this specialised field.
