Annie Akhtar

Annie is a Chartered Legal Executive in our Property Litigation team, based at the Alconbury office. She advises on a wide range of contentious property matters, with particular expertise in rural and agricultural disputes.

Annie has extensive experience handling complex, high-value, and technically demanding cases.

Her work includes:

• Landlord and tenant disputes
• Rights of way issues
• Partnership disputes
• Septic tank and drainage matters
• Contaminated land cases
• Proprietary estoppel claims
• A broad spectrum of other land-related conflicts

Before joining Roythornes, she qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in November 2024 via the Graduate CILEX route at a South West-based law firm. She then worked with the Country Land and Business Association, advising on agricultural tenancies, before moving to a northern firm specialising in land and property disputes.

Annie takes pride in building strong client relationships and delivering clear, commercially focused advice.
