Ranulf Gull

Ranulf’s work primarily focusses on mergers and acquisitions, where he assists in acting on both buy-side and sell-side transactions. His responsibilities include drafting disclosure letters, corporate ancillary documents and share purchase agreements.
He plays a crucial role in legal due diligence reviews, managing data rooms, preparing due diligence reports, and leading due diligence meetings. Ranulf also has experience in corporate finance work, family investment companies, cross-border transactions, company restructures, investment rounds, and drafting shareholder agreements, EMI Option Schemes, and share buyback agreements.
Ranulf joined Roythornes as a trainee solicitor in 2023, where he gained experience within our Corporate and Commercial team, Private Client team and our Agricultural Litigation team. He qualified into our Corporate and Commercial team as a Solicitor in 2025.
Prior to joining Roythornes, Ranulf graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2022 with a First-Class Law degree, followed by completing his LPC with LLM, where he achieved a distinction in 2023.
Outside of work, Ranulf is a keen sportsman who enjoys running, golf, and snowboarding.
