Sophie Crook
Sophie specialises in advising individuals and families on bespoke Wills, lifetime estate planning and the administration of estates. She works closely with personal representatives, providing practical guidance on matters such as Inheritance Tax, mitigating potential liabilities and obtaining Grants of Probate.
Sophie also has extensive experience handling complex intestacy estates, often involving large numbers of beneficiaries based both across the UK and internationally.
In addition, she is particularly experienced in supporting vulnerable clients, both in preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and in guiding them sensitively through the estate administration process.
Sophie joined Roythornes in 2018 as a secretary and has progressed within the firm while continuing her professional development. She has since completed her CILEX Level 3 qualification and, following the successful completion of her apprenticeship, qualified as a solicitor in June 2026. Prior to joining the firm, Sophie studied at the University of Reading, where she gained a degree in English Literature and Politics.
