Elizabeth Rice

Elizabeth qualified as a solicitor in September 2025 into our Commercial, Construction and Engineering team. She has experience advising on, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of contracts, including large-scale automation projects, equipment maintenance and support agreements, building contracts, consultant appointments, sub-contracts, guarantees, and collateral warranties.

She also regularly advises on terms and conditions, framework agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and corporate policies.

She completed her training contract at Roythornes with seats in Residential Development, Construction and Engineering, Corporate and Commercial and Construction Litigation.

Prior to joining Roythornes, Elizabeth graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 2020 with an LLB Law degree and went on to complete the LLM Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School, achieving a distinction. She then spent two years as an in-house paralegal at a biotechnology company where she gained valuable experience in Commercial, Corporate, Employment, and Intellectual Property.
