Roythornes Bolsters Specialist Sector Expertise Within Real Estate Division

Top 150 law firm Roythornes Solicitors has welcomed four new real estate specialists with expert knowledge on agriculture, renewable energy and residential development.

Senior associate, Lee Hayes, joins the commercial development and investment team from Knights plc. Lee has particular expertise in the renewable energy and mines and minerals sector. Roythornes are also joined by Rebecca Whitaker and Robert Poulton, strengthening their agricultural offering across all five of their offices and by Kareena Gogna in their residential development team

Lee said: “Having enjoyed working with Roythornes while on the other side of previous transactions, I knew that the culture breeds a positive way of working and I’m looking forward to embracing the opportunities presented by working at the firm. It’s an exciting time to be joining Roythornes’ real estate division, particularly given its strength in the agriculture, renewable energy and residential housing sectors.

Acting for key farms and estates, Roythornes is already one of the top agricultural law practices in the country but is intent on increasing its extensive service offering through continued growth and collaboration across its regions.

While Rebecca is based in Roythornes’ Spalding office, Lee, Robert and Kareena have taken residence in Birmingham alongside the firm’s national head of real estate Bhavesh Amlani.

Bhavesh said: “Our real estate team continues to grow from strength to strength and the collaboration across regions ensures all of our clients can benefit from the expertise we have within our ranks. We’re delighted to have welcomed Rebecca, Robert, Lee and Kareena. They have all brought unique insight and have instantly become valuable members of our dynamic cross-industry team.”
