Katie Temple

Having graduated from the University of Nottingham with a First Class degree in Music and a Masters in Research, Katie commenced the GDL at Nottingham Law School in 2020, achieving a Distinction and being awarded the NLS Prize for Outstanding Contribution on the GDL. Following this, Katie completed the LPC at Nottingham Law School, for which she also achieved a Distinction.

Katie commenced her training contract with Roythornes in September 2022. Prior to joining Roythornes, she gained an insight into real estate law whilst working for three months as a Legal Assistant in a national law firm.

Katie completed her first training seat in the Planning team. During this time, she gained experience advising developers on infrastructure agreements and Section 106 agreements as well as advising individuals on planning enforcement notices and applications for Certificates of Lawfulness.

Katie’s second seat was in the Regulatory team. Here, she gained experience advising food businesses and farmers who were being investigated, prosecuted or enforced against by regulatory bodies.

Her third seat was in the Private Client team where she gained experience preparing wills and powers of attorney as well as completing probate applications.

She is now in her final seat in the Agricultural Property team.
