Roythornes Bolsters Peterborough Offering With New Recruits

Top 150 law firm Roythornes Solicitors has strengthened its Peterborough team with two new recruits, covering commercial property and residential property.

James Pepperdine, commercial property associate and Hanna Choudhary, residential property solicitor, have both joined the firm bringing a wealth of experience in their fields.

James previously worked in commercial property for Hunt & Coombs dealing with acquisitions, leases and property law. Hanna spent three years at Taylor Rose solicitors following a seven-year break to have a family.

Sharing his excitement for his new role, James said: “There is so much ongoing development in Peterborough so there’s ample opportunity for growth. I came to Roythornes because its reputation speaks for itself. I’m excited about working with multinationals and, although I have worked with a variety of small and large clients and understand the nuances of property law, Roythornes offers exposure to more complex matters and a real chance to progress.”

After working for a small firm in residential property law, Hanna is excited about joining a 20-strong team.

Hanna said: “I’m enjoying my time at Roythornes so far and I have already secured 24 new clients, which is a great achievement for my first few months. There have been so many developments in residential property in the last few years and I’ve been inundated with enquiries on things like stamp duty because there’s not enough guidance. I’ve worked hard to ensure my knowledge in this field is all-encompassing so I can guide my clients appropriately.”

Vember Mortlock, managing director at Roythornes, said: “We act on behalf of many of the country’s largest housebuilders, property owners, developers and tenants and our teams have an in-depth, intuitive awareness of the issues facing our clients. We’re delighted to welcome both James and Hanna to the firm and their vast knowledge of the property market will no doubt help us go from strength to strength and build our reputation further.”
