Leading Lawyer Appointed to the Agricultural Law Association Panel

A leading agricultural lawyer at law firm Roythornes has been appointed to a prestigious new panel aimed at providing specialist advice to rural sector professionals.

The Agricultural Law Association (ALA) is the UK’s largest inter-professional organisation devoted to the law and business of the countryside.  They launched their Dispute Resolution Panel this year with the aim of it being a centre of excellence for the rural sector.  It brings together experts who are at the top of their profession with a particular expertise in mediation and arbitration and will provide independent services for fellow professionals.

Partner Tim Russ, who has been with Roythornes since 2014 is one of only 9 specialists on the Arbitration panel and 7 on the Mediation panel.  His appointment was confirmed only after completing an independently assessed submission in which he detailed some of the cases he had worked on, and provided testimonials from other professionals.  Tim is a senior dispute resolution lawyer specialising in agricultural law, food law, private client and property disputes.

Tim said “I’m delighted to have been appointed to the panel.  As a firm we are known for our agricultural expertise and being appointed to the ALA panel is recognition of my experience and the skills we have in the firm.”
