A year after qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2018, Jennifer completed her Legal Practice Course and dual-qualified as a solicitor. Throughout her studies, she built up a wealth of experience in lifetime planning, preparing bespoke wills and putting in place powers of attorney.
With her experience, Jennifer is able to take an holistic approach to lifetime planning, ensuring consideration is given to both the current and future aims of each client. She has acted for a broad range of clients, from simple estates to multi-millionaires. She particularly enjoys providing advice to clients on Inheritance Tax, care home fee planning, succession planning, assessment of mental capacity, and the handling of sensitive subjects including the exclusion of children from a will and how best to help avoid a claim.
Jennifer joined the Private Client team in 2019 where she puts into practice her lifetime planning skills, as well as managing Court of Protection matters. She has recently become an Associate member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE), a specialist group of lawyers who support and make a difference to older and vulnerable people.
In her spare time, she enjoys music and spending time with her five dogs!
