Educated locally, Harry spent his vacations from university working with Roythornes and is now in his second year of his training contract with the firm.
He studied his LLB at the University of York, graduating in 2018 and immediately joined Roythornes full-time. Alongside his training contract, Harry undertakes his LPC on a part-time basis.
Harry’s first seat mixed litigation and employment, mostly assisting Alan Plummer, Phil Cookson and Laura Hill. He then moved to Commercial Property under the supervision of Iain Hibbert and Edd Johnson. His work varied from commercial leasehold transactions to large re-financing projects, as well as being involved in the specialist renewable energy transactions for which Roythornes is renowned. For his third seat, Harry supported head of Private Client, Elizabeth Young.
Now in his fourth and final seat, he assists head of department, Jo Ladds, in Property Development. Here, Harry is involved in the various high-value projects currently being worked on by the team.
