With a city background Andrew specialises in minerals and aggregates. He is also well known in developer circles and the licensed trade having acted for Greene King plc, Loch Fyne Restaurants and the fast growing Blanc Brasseries chain for a number of years.
He also acts for Lafarge Tarmac, one of the UK's largest producers of construction materials, with his advice sought for their strategic land acquisition for mineral and aggregate extraction.
Andrew also specialises in the evolving renewables sector advising on energy from waste facilities, wind farms and other major renewable projects. Andrew and his team have recently advised Green Energy Parks, Peterborough Renewable Energy and Energy Parks Peterborough on the proposed 80mW energy park for Peterborough. They also advised the landowners on the proposed Biffa Energy from Waste project at Shepshed, Leicestershire. Planning consent for construction was received in 2012.
