Leading food and drink sector law firm, Roythornes, has won an award for communicating effectively with customers and the industry.
The firm, along with partners, Pelican Communications, scooped a prize for “Best Trade and B2B Communications Campaign” at the Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) Dare Awards 2016.
The award recognises the work done to communicate with the food and drink industry via the media and through events and partnerships, since the creation of the firm’s specialist team around four years ago.
Mark Dodds, Marketing Manager said: “We’re delighted to have won the award. It is recognition for the hard work of the whole of the team, not just in communications but in the whole of our practice.
“From a standing start we have gained a high profile and new clients within the sector thanks to a combination of activity, of which communications has been a vital part.”
The team runs a dedicated food law blog as well as a range of events and seminars including the popular Roythornes Food Business Breakfast which regularly attracts over 100 delegates.
The firm has also developed a range of reference materials, available both in print and online, and sponsored a number of key industry events, developing effective partnerships as a result.
