Roythornes strengthens agriculture team

Leading Agricultural lawyers Roythornes has recruited the well-known Julie Robinson to their agricultural team as part of their ambitious growth plans.

Julie is returning to Roythornes after several years at the National Farmers' Union, where she was Chief Legal Adviser and then Head of Government & Parliamentary Affairs. She re-joins the team just before Cereals, a perfect event for catching up with former clients and contacts.

Speaking about the move, Vember Mortlock, head of Roythornes agriculture team said:

“We are delighted that Julie has decided to join us.  She is well known and respected within the farming community and she will be a great asset to the team.”

Julie said:

“I am really excited to be coming back to Roythornes, not just because I already know many of the team, but because they have ambitious plans that I want to be part of.”

“There is an awful lot going on at the moment. Policy changes at home and in Brussels - from the dissolution of the Agricultural Wages Board to the latest round of CAP Reform -  are going to impact significantly on farm businesses; it's our job to help steer our clients through the maze and work out pragmatic, cost-effective approaches that make the changes as painless as possible. Actually, I can't wait to get stuck in."
