Roythornes expands into 'Big Skies' country

Top 150 law firm Roythornes has taken the next step in its ambitious growth plans with the opening of a new East Anglia office on the Alconbury Enterprise Campus.  Strategically located just off the A1(M)/A14 junction, Roythornes will use its new base to reach out to both established and new clients.

Speaking about the opening, Managing Director Vember Mortlock said:

“The new office has great connections into areas like Greater Cambridgeshire where we believe the economy is set to keep growing. We want to be part of that growth, and with a number of our people already living in the region it made sense to open an office.”

The office will be a hub for the complete range of legal services from the top 150 law firm including agriculture, food, property and sustainable energy.  The team will also provide services for individuals such as wealth management and tax advice in relation to succession planning.

Roythornes acts as a trusted advisor to both businesses and individuals, and was recently listed among the ‘1000 companies to inspire Britain’ by the London Stock Exchange.  With almost 200 staff Roythornes is one of the major players in the eastern region, and regularly appears at the top of league tables in specialist guides.

Commenting that this was a good time for Roythornes to expand, Vember said:

“For many clients in the agricultural sector, uncertainty over Brexit and the future of farm policy provide an opportunity to review their business strategy. Whether diversification, development, the core farming business or succession planning is the focus, the key challenge is to develop resilience ready for the choppy waters ahead.”

Vember continued:

“Our East Anglia office will not only grow our client base but will create employment opportunities – working for a firm like Roythornes in an easy to access location has to be an attractive proposition for anyone looking to develop their career.”
