Our impact on the world, as a growing human population, is undeniable, and action must be taken sooner, because there may not be a later.

Because businesses play such a large part in the economy and in the use of resources we felt it was time that the Businesses of Peterborough got together to start discussions on the real issues we face today.

The Green Networking event aims to start the conversation.  Organised by environmental charity PECT, supported by the Peterborough Cathedral, and sponsored by Roythornes Solicitors, it aims to bring together the businesses in the region and start looking at how we can tackle today the issues that will affect our tomorrows.

It talks place in the magnificent Peterborough Cathedral on Thursday 12th September from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

This event coincides with the exhibition Gaia, an artwork by Luke Jerram, which will be displayed at Peterborough Cathedral between 19th August-15th September 2019. This 7m diameter sphere features detailed NASA imagery of the earth’s surface, and is a fantastic opportunity to reflect on the fragile beauty of the earth that we need to protect and care for.

It would be easy to ignore the challenges we face and the difference we can make and we do hope you can join us and some like-minded business leaders and organisations for what promises to be an informative and thought provoking event.
