'It stood out to me as an organisation which considered its trainees to be future partners.'
Leading up to my graduation from the University of Warwick, I was looking for a firm which would support me in pursuing my ambition to qualify as a solicitor, as well as providing a positive and welcoming working environment.
My first impression of Roythornes at my first interview was of a friendly and professional firm. It stood out to me as an organisation which considered its trainees to be future partners.
I firstly worked in the Agricultural Property department, briefly as a paralegal and subsequently as a trainee, working alongside David Marsh. I began to develop my knowledge and skills and always felt that I could ask any ‘silly’ questions. As my training contract progressed, I gained a broader range of experience in both the Private Client and Commercial Litigation departments.
As well as work, trainees are encouraged to participate in webinars, training and networking events.
