When I began my search for a training contract I was keen to find a firm that had a friendly and welcoming feel to it and as I walked into the offices at I experienced that immediately. I was very lucky to be able to visit the firm in person before the COVID-19 pandemic and I instantly felt at home.

The staff were welcoming, kind and I felt at ease. I was in awe of their reputation and dedication to clients and the way business was balanced with a sense of friendship between solicitor and client. This is a quality I admired in Roythornes and that made Roythornes stand out from the other firms I had applied to.

Now that I have been working at Roythornes for a few months I can say that I was immediately accepted into the environment and have never felt like an outsider. The atmosphere is supportive and approachable and I never feel embarrassed or afraid to ask questions. Everybody seems to have a nice balance between work and life and because of this I have grown in confidence in my ability to cope with a very different reality from University.

I have been lucky to start in the Personal Injury team as it feels as though I have joined a family of legal experts and I feel accepted and I enjoy coming in to work.
