Leading law firm Roythornes has announced that its Charity of The Year will be St Barnabas...
I began voluntary work experience with Roythornes whilst studying A Levels at the local grammar school. During this time I learned numerous skills that even today prove invaluable. I found the involvement in and exposure to the legal environment extremely rewarding; it reinforced my career path and set in stone a career in law. I was offered a job in Operations Support shortly after sitting my final A-Level exams and thoroughly enjoyed the diverse nature and contact with clients the role provided.
After naturally progressing within the firm I became a legal secretary in the Private Client department. A few months later I began studying with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx) which led to a promotion to paralegal. I am delighted to have now become a Fellow of CILEx - and thus a fully qualified lawyer! I am excited to see where my future with Roythornes will lead.
