Michelle Moore - Solicitor
I began working at Roythornes as a paralegal in Roythornes’ Residential Conveyancing department just after I finished my law degree at university. From my first interview I knew Roythornes was the place I wanted to work due to the friendliness of the staff and the emphasis they placed upon client relationships. I decided to undertake my Legal Practice Course on a part-time basis shortly after joining Roythornes as I thoroughly enjoyed the work I was doing and wanted to develop my career here. Roythornes were supportive of this decision and even gave me study leave!
I was lucky enough to be offered a training contract and moved to the Property Litigation department to undertake my first seat. I was exposed to a variety of different matters incredibly early in my training contract and was even able to represent clients at court on my own. The responsibility coupled with the support from my supervisor and other members of the team meant my legal knowledge has grown exponentially and so has my confidence. My training contract was built round my desire to qualify as a solicitor in the Property Litigation team and I am thrilled to say I have achieved this goal.
