He specialises in succession and capital tax planning for agricultural clients, owner managed businesses and high net worth individuals. During his time with Roythornes Alex has advised on tax planning with SIPPs, given capital tax advice for mineral extraction projects, supervised the formation of a registered charity and conducted inheritance tax, SDLT and capital gains tax planning through wills, trusts and partnership rearrangements for many land owning clients and estates. Through his involvement with the Agricultural Law Association and the Fresh Start Academy he is rapidly gaining a reputation in professional circles for his depth of knowledge and pragmatic approach.
