| Solicitors support Sing for Heroes project 06/05/2010 Peterborough based solicitors Roythornes have announced a major sponsorship of what is promising to be one of Peterborough's major cultural events of the year. The Sing For Heroes project is being led by Will Prideaux, Musical Director of the Peterborough Male Voice Choir. It aims to take a group of sixty 'novices' with no real singing experience and bring them up to a high standard in time for a concert in Peterborough Cathedral on 10th July in aid of the Help For Heroes Charity.
Rehearsals are well underway and Will said he has been impressed with the enthusiasm of his new recruits:
"I have been very pleased with the way the group have thrown themselves in to the project and the commitment they are showing. We have a couple of concerts lined up before the Cathedral event and we're determined to put on a good show. The generous sponsorship from Roythornes will help us greatly with publicity material and other costs."
