The deal was led by Partner Andrew Shipley, who acted for fashion firm Paul and Joe after their UK distributor went into administration.

The work on acquiring stores, in Sloane Street, Kings Road and Covent Garden involved complex negotiations with different landlords under a tight timescale and was dealt with by partners Andrew Cjajka and Fran Muldoon.

A new business structure was created by the firms Corporate Team working with Paul and Joes Paris based lawyers.

Speaking about the work, Andrew said:

We act for a number of international firms and the work for Paul and Joe came to us via one of my contacts in Paris. The client was keen to maintain a wholesale business and to acquire flagship retail premises in the UK and I am pleased that we were able to help them do that so quickly.

Paul and Joe was formed in 1995 and now sell clothing in over 30 countries across the world.
